![]() You automatically assume ill intentions from anyone that has a problem with you, which is exemplified by the rule in your chat that one apparently receives a temporary ban for something like saying "Storm is pretty strong right now". You act aggressive and dismissive towards anyone that calls you out or criticizes you, regardless of whether their criticisms are presented in a constructive manner or not. I say you're not a nice person based on how I've seen you behave in general, not just based on this. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just the impression I'm getting, just going off the rules that apparently are in place on your stream. It doesn't paint the greatest picture of you as a person. But I think you can discern a lot about a person's character based on how they treat people beneath them, and the difference between how you treat people here, where you're subjected to the rules of the subreddit, and how you apparently treat people on your stream, where you're the one in charge. But at least a decent amount of the people in your community seem to have a serious problem in dealing with criticism of you and your actions, and I think that at least partially spawns from how you yourself deal with those things. And yes, plenty of your critics are also toxic, before you feel the need to point that out. I just don't agree with it, and I think that kind of behavior tends to spawn an outwardly toxic community, as evidenced by some of the people coming into this thread. Like I said, it's your stream, so you can do whatever you want. Just outright banning them seems extremely weird to me. Asking them to elaborate on the comment if an elaboration is needed, and then ignoring them if they don't do so, seems like a more reasonable response. The problem with your analogy is that there's no real way for the chat to "talk over" the video feed.īut even so, I still think that banning someone for making a useless comment is overreacting. After the ban, I never watch him anymore, that's for sure. Heck he often responded and took my opinions well (Im a psychologist and often gave opinion about the behavior of Magic players). I used to like the discussions on his stream. You could just say "yes" or "yes but they dont have the same game plan" I asked if this was that much more fun to play than lantern (that you hated so much, because to me it looks like they have the same game plan). "Not sure why you not only had to time me out for asking a sincere question but also mock me. = Instant timeout and mocking me live on stream talking about me being a local jerk who mocks people, and how apparently I said that this was the same deck as lantern. "Is this really that much funnier to play than lantern? You hated that after all" I wrote the following (and this is accurate since I wrote it down the second he banned me) : r/magicTCG is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.
